Suzuki Alto is a very common and old name in the world wide automotive industry because this car is manufactured in many countries all over the world. The Toyota Corolla is one of the oldest names in automobiles history. The car is so old that my grandfather used to drive one and his father too :P. This car was first introduced in 1966 and became the World's best selling car in 1997. More than 40 million units of Toyota Corolla have been sold over the years. The reason of these awesome and extraordinary figures is because the Toyota Corolla has always been the affordable, reliable, durable, comfortable car and has carried all the latest features a car needed in its time. 

Since the car is manufactured in most of the countries, different countries have  different models and different types and technologies. Like in Pakistan Toyota Corolla is launched in 4 trims Xli, Gli, Altis and Diesel while in America the latest corolla family includes L, LE , LE Eco and S.

Description

The new Toyota Corolla has change a lot as compared to previous model, the Car has better aerodynamics which came with the NEW Toyota Corolla Shape making the car eye catching and giving the car a Drag Coefficient of  0.28 which puts the car near the top in its class ( The LE Eco has better aerodynamics than others ). I think the looks are far more better than the previous model of corolla. 

The design of this car is more Rigid made from better and stronger steel, making the car stronger and giving it better safety and it also helped removing vibrations.

The New features of the Car include the electric Power Steering, the new power steering is far more better than the old one and makes the car handling better and easier. The new model has also better brakes. Disk brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear wheel with an option of disk brakes in Toyota Corolla S Trim or version. Different Wheels are offered in different trims with different rims and  tires or rubbers. It all depends on your wallet, you can buy the 17 inch alloys if you have the cash :P

The car has 2 different types of engines (both Aluminium). A 1.8 liter 4 inline cylinder engine with Dual intelligent VVT-i (VVT stand for variable valve timing) which has the ability to produce 132 horsepower. The other engine equipped by the LE-Eco Corolla is also a 4 inline cylinder engine capable of 140 horsepower but with a better technology than VVT-i making the car more Fuel efficient and giving better fuel economy.

New Feature 

The Toyota Corolla is equipped with CVT (Continuously variable Transmission) technology giving the car a better Fuel economy and smoother ride. The car also has a better suspension.

Volkswagen XL1 (The 1 liter car)

The Volkswagen XL1 is built to breach the mileage of 100 kilometers per liter due to which it does and due to which it is also known as the 1 liter car. It is the world's best fuel efficient car. The Volkswagen XL1 is a hybrid with a diesel engine capable of covering a distance of 100 kilometers or 62.1 miles with o.9 liters of diesel with the emission of only 21 grams of CO2 per kilometer. 

Description

To get a mileage of 100 km for 1 liter is not easy. To do so, the Volkswagen XL1 is built very light with Carbon fiber and aluminum making it stronger, lighter and faster and weighs only 795 kg or 1793 lb. The length of the car is 3970 mm and width is 1682 mm.  The car has very low height of 1184 mm as compared to other cars but over all i think the car looks beautiful.The Volkswagen XL1 is two seater with Doors opening vertically (Scissor Doors).

The car is also very Environment friendly and has emission of only  21 grams of CO2 per kilometer. 

Engine

The car is powered by Turbocharged DOHC 47 horsepower 800cc 2 cylinder diesel engine with a 27 horsepower electric motor placed in the back which gives a combine Horsepower of 68, while the 60 cell, 5.5 kWh, 150 pound lithium ion battery is located in the front which is recharged by the advance braking system as well as the diesel engine when needed. The car has a 7 speed dual clutch transmission.

The electric Motor is capable of driving this car for 31 miles alone but in winter or a cold rainy day the figure goes down. 

For a car with mileage of an extraordinary figure, the performance is not bad either. The Volkswagen XL1 goes from zero to 60 mph in just about 12.6 seconds and has a top speed of 99 mph or 159 km/h. Obviously with mileage, performance does not comes.

The Volkswagen XL1 can store up to 10 liters or 2.64 gallons of fuel which is capable of driving this for about 690.3 miles.

Mileage 

This is what makes this car the World's most fuel efficient car.

The Volkswagen XL1 has a combined mileage of 100 kilometers per 1 liter or 261.3 miles per gallon. Its a awesome figure :D 

Price of Volkswagen XL1

I dont know the price of Volkswagen XL1 now, there are many different prices all over the internet. 

All I know is that only 200 units will be sold to retail customers. The Volkswagen opened a registration process for interested customers which was closed afterwards because of more than 200 registration. A draft will be conducted to select the customers for the available units and they will be given a purchase contract after payment of  27000 US dollars.

Honda Accord Hybrid 2014 is one of the best Mid size sedan that gives a good mileage mileage in 2014 and The Honda Accord is also the winner of  Green Car of the year 2014. It will gives the you the best Fuel economy. In my opinion the new Honda Accord Hybrid is in my top 10 list with respect to its cost, Fuel Economy and its options. 

Description

First of all i want to tell you folks that the new Honda Accord has no transmission. Yes, the new Hybrid with no transmission at all. In Fact the only Hybrid Car that has no Transmission, which is why the new hybrid system makes this car more Special.

This new Hybrid has three type of driving systems EV drive, engine drive and Hybrid drive.

In the EV drive system, the car's front two wheels are powered by 166 Horse Power AC electric motor which uses energy from the Lithium Ion Battery (Li-ion) while the in the engine drive mode the car is powered by the 141 horse power 16 valve  2.0 Liter, DOHC i-VTEC 4 cylinder Engine. In the new Hybrid drive system this Car's engine powers a generator, which supplements the current drawn from the battery. In this mode, there is no physical connection between the engine and the drive wheels. This car is spend its most of the time in Hybrid Drive mode.
