Fuel Economy of Toyota Passo 2010-2014
In this post you will find out the fuel economy of Toyota Passo 1.0 liter and 1.3 liter.The car has so many names because, it is sold in different countries with different names For example the car is now being manufactured in UAE under the Daihatsu Sirion nameplate. The fuel economy or fuel consumption of Toyota Passo 1.0 liter with 4 speed automatic transmission is 21.5 kilometers per liter while the 1.3 liter Toyota Passo has a fuel consumption of 18.2 kilometers in a liter. You should also know that The Toyota Passo does not has a better fuel economy than Daihatsu Mira (27 kmpl) and Toyota Belta (22 kmpl), as well as Toyota Vitz/Yaris (24.5 kmpl).

DeleteEevery passo gives about 10km/l in city and about 14 in long.
DeleteCheck your plugs and ensure that all plugs are the same size.
DeleteMine was 12kml before with 2 long and 1 short plug. But after all 3 long plugs mine fuel average is 19kml.
My passo gives mileage around 18km , quite good.

ReplyDeleteI've Passo 2011 model, with in city or highway, on ECO it is giving around 16km/L. But once exceeding the 110 Km/H speed, ECO goes off and it is giving 10km/L. someone quoted 21, is it really possible?how? what is average above 110 speed?

Deletewith normal fuel,my Passo 2010 gave me 17+ in city, which could go to 22 on highways. But I was amazed by its performance on HOBC. It gave me 20 in city and even above 26 on highways. I really dont know why you guys are getting so low mileage. I would suggest consult a progressive mechanic who knows new technology.

DeleteMy car was giving 18 within city but after inserting new tyres although I used new yokohama Brighstone tyres which are thin 70/75 my car is giving 11 within city.please suggest me.

Newer cars are getting better and better for fuel economy, some of the larger engines now return better fuel economy than the early smaller engines. Whether petrol or diesel they've all come on so much!

ReplyDeleteHaris .I also have passo 2014 but it gave me 17 to 18 per litre in ac and on moterway it give me uoto 23 some time 24 .actully befire this my car was giving 13 to 14 per litre but after some tunning which no one know they samply do a tunning of plugs.filtre etc but one thing we missed and i have done that thing

ReplyDeleteWith proper oil lubricants and clean fuel injectors you all guys can increase ur fuel consumption. Check your vehicle user manual and whats company says about your engine fuel consumption, it should give that average.

ReplyDeleteI think this vehicle has maximum fuel consumption average of 10-13 km/L. I have 2014 Passo (4WD). I use Toyota genuine transmission oil, company recommended grade engine oil and spark plugs, tuned/ service the throttle body from Toyota Dealer but same average maximum up to 11 km/L with soft paddle in city.

bhai you can get better avg from your passo only when you keep your speed maintain on 50-60, jitne ziyada kam speed per garhi chalegi or jitni ziyada breaks lagengin, aapko avg usme kam milegi.

speed 50-60 (15-17km/l).
on Highway speed 60-100 (avg 22 km/L)

city me avg sahi ni mil rahi he bas 13 tak he, or 15-17 tak tab jati he jab long roads hon breaks na lagen. otherwise less speed per avg 12 per hi rehti he
