Tata nano also known as the one Lakh Car is the world cheapest car manufactured by an Indian company Tata Motors. Tata nano is basically made for the low class population of India so that the people of low class in India could one day be the drivers of their own car. Tata nano is the car for anyone who graduates from a motorcycle to car in India.
Description
The new tata nano is the cheapest car in the word, which means it does not contain the usual features that a car now a days usually have like air bags, usb interface, bluetooth, adjustable steering etc. The cheapest version of Nano does not even has a CD player.
Obviously if you are buying a 2500 $ car then it means you don't get all the usual features a cars usually have. But still if you can own a car for only 2500 $ is amazing :D
What does this car has under its Hood ?
The tata nano does not has a engine under its hood, in Fact the engine of this car is behind or under the backseat. So 2500 $ gets you a brand new 38 Cubic inch 2 cylinder SOHC (single overhead camshaft) all aluminium 624cc Engine which produces 37 horsepower, enough to take this car from 0 to 105 Km/hr in 12.6 seconds. This car has a manual transmission with four gears and a reverse gear. The fourth gear takes this car to an over drive.
This car has 4 doors and seating capacity of 4 people and a little bit of cargo volume Too which i think is amazing for size of this car.

City: 22 kilometers per liter (kmpl)
Highway: 25 kilometers per liter (kmpl)
Types of Tata Nano
There are many different types of tata nano depending upon their features like AC (air conditioning) , heater, power windows, CD player etc and they cost between 1.29 and 2.67 Lac Indian Rupees depending on their features. The most costly models are with the technology of CNG (compressed natural gas). This technology gives better fuel efficiency and mileage.
But even the most costly models of Tata nano does not cost more than 5000 $ including the features like central locking, power windows, CNG, Cd player, air conditioning and heater which the basic nano's don't have.
so,
This is the world's cheapest car, it does not have the latest features the cars now a days have but i think it is beautiful looking car and its amazing that you can own a brand new car for less than 5000 $ :D
